Agriculture and food production represent a dominant sector in Bangladesh. Danish companies related to food and agriculture are directly present or are doing business in Bangladesh ranging from dairy production, to food and beverages production to cold chain and storage etc. 

Exchange of experience and transfer of Danish knowledge and technologies throughout the food value chain will benefit both Bangladeshi consumers and manufacturers to achieve higher quality. This in turn will also lead to more commercial opportunities for Danish companies in Bangladesh from machinery, to knowledge exchange and food and beverage products.

Furthermore, there is an increased production, enhanced value addition and private sector development with improved practices and technologies. 

As being one of the world’s most climate vulnerable countries, Bangladesh is devoted to the green transition, energy savings and climate mitigation. 

Bangladesh has undergone an immense development the recent decade, however, some challenges in the market still occur.
