Sustainability and Supply Chain Advisory

In the beginning of this year, the embassy here in Dhaka launched Sustainability and Supply Chain Advisory (SSCA). To promote ethical trade conditions and secure long lasting benefits to business from Denmark who are currently working in Bangladesh. SSCA is cluster of experts ranging from leading industry consultants, supply chain experts, climate program leaders and social accountability experts.

A sustainable supply chain fosters resilience by diversifying sourcing, adopting circular practices, and reducing over-reliance on limited resources. SSCA empowers businesses to explore novel eco-friendly technologies and practices that not only reduce their carbon footprint but also differentiate them from competitors, fostering a unique selling proposition. Traceability is the cornerstone of a transparent and accountable supply chain. It ensures that every step of the production process can be accounted for, right from sourcing raw materials to the delivery of the final product. With SSCA, businesses can now implement traceability systems, enabling them to demonstrate the authenticity of their claims, engendering trust among consumers, investors, and stakeholders alike.
