Denmark in Bangladesh celebrated International Women's Day with webinar

Keeping in theme with this year’s International Women's Day 2021, join the Embassy of Denmark in Bangladesh and Ain o Salish Kendra as we #ChooseToChallenge violence against women for #IWD2021.

As we commemorate the socioeconomic, cultural, and political achievements of women this International Women’s Day, Denmark in Bangladesh challenged gender-based violence that continues to permeate the lives of women worldwide with a webinar on March 6, 2021. Together with long-term development partner Ain O Salish Kendra, the Embassy invited Bangladeshi activists, lawyers, academics, parliament members, and UNWomen to share their insights on how institutions and individuals can better respond to violence against women.
