Global leaders accelerate green growth action in Copenhagen

3GF takes place on 20-21 October 2014 in Copenhagen where governments join hands with leading businesses, investors, cities, international organizations and civil society to engage in knowledge exchange and 11 strategic partnerships.  Around 300 top leaders are expected at 3GF, which is hosted by Denmark’s Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt. At the summit, world leaders will put their minds together to turn ideas into action and make sure green solutions are being implemented globally. 

Dr. Atiur Rahman, Governor of Bangladesh Bank is taking part in the summit along with Iftekhar Enayetullah, Co-Founder & Director of Waste Concern Bangladesh, a social business enterprise promoting waste recycling and environmental improvements.

This year’s Forum will focus on changing consumption and production patterns and how to stimulate sustainable lifestyles for billions of future middle class consumers. This is critical in order to increase global prosperity for all without compromising opportunities of future generations.
