Deadline for handling of visa applications with travel before Christmas

The Embassy is closed for Christmas from 24 December 2021 to 1 January 2022 (incl.). If you need a visa to travel to Denmark (incl. Faroe Islands and Greenland), before 24 December, the latest day for handing in the visa application to the VFS Global Application Center is Wednesday, 8 December 2021. As a rule, applications should at the latest be handed in 15 days prior to the intended entry into the Schengen area.
